Katherine Rabe Má (麻羽墨 Ma Yumo) is an architecture student who currently studies in SAIC (School of the Art Institute of Chicago). Katherine’s works are inspired by nature and she keeps exploring the beauty and secret of nature and the relationship between human and nature through her artworks.

Katherine’s interests focus on architecture, abstract painting, hand-working, Chinese landscape painting, art therapy, psychology and philosophy. Her personal architectural practice focuses on how to heal the human soul through architecture as a form, how to poeticize architecture while focusing on functionality and aesthetics, and how to integrate psychology, philosophy, aesthetics and architecture.
